Feb, 5th Claude King Turned 84 years young!... On Feb, 11th 2007, Claude will be inducted to the Shreveport
Chamber's "Walk of the Stars" other stars on the walkway include. James Burton, Merle Kilgore, Tillman Franks, Etc.


There will be a "BIG SHOW" at the home of the original "LOUISIANA HAYRIDE" building, the Municipal Auditorium.
Claude King will perform "LIVE" with his band "The Cotton Dan Band", It has been over 20 years since these guys
have played together and there will be a reunion with some of Claude's older band members too!


Wow! The show on FEB-11th was GREAT!... A great crowd and tons of musicans to honor this great entertainer James Burton (guitar player for Elvis, John Denver and Ricky Nelson) walked on stage and picked up a guitar and joined in too!. For those of you who missed the show... this CD will give you an idea of what you missed, except instead of 4 musicians like on this tape the Feb 11th show had 8 band members and female back-up singers.
In all 3 bands played, which consisted of members who have worked with Claude over the years. THe Cotton Dan Band took the stage to play for Claude. What a night!

Claude King was on top again and at 84 years old he shined like he was in his 50's. Claude recieved 4 standing ovations!! One was when he introuduced his wife Barbara and brought her to the stage...to give her roses for thier 61st wedding anniversary, and sing his hit song "You Give Me Your and I'll Give You Mine.

I wanted to produce this Album/CD in 1983, Claude and I kicked it around awhile and then just forgot it. A year ago
I found the tape again and told Claude we need to release this, it is just to good, and it is the only live recording
of us. Well after re-mixing and cleaning I think we got another solid Claude King Hit! and just in time.

following. Claude has over 30 chart hits, and starred in two movies, plus a television mini-series.
